At Country Haven Miramichi there is no need to sacrifice comfort for great fishing. Being a full fledge fishing outfitter we offer our guests a choice of 4 Star accommodation in our main lodge or one of our private cottages. We are located NEAR BLACKVILLE, the SALMON CAPITAL OF THE MIRAMICHI, overlooking approximately 40,000 ATLANTIC SALMON THAT SWIM PAST OUR DOOR ANNUALLY.
The Lodge...
Our 4,000 square foot log lodge consists of five bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, modern kitchen and dining area, a SPACIOUS LIVING ROOM with a cathedral ceiling and large windows offering a spectacular view of the river. There are upper and lower decks to relax on while watching the Atlantic salmon jumping and rolling up the river. Enjoy a game of billards with old and new friends or try out the exercise equipment in the recreation room. You can even make use of the flytying vise and materials to tie the fly of the day.
Your stay at the lodge is an all-inclusive package with daily maid service and three daily home cooked meals featuring traditional Miramichi cuisine.
Three Bedroom Cottage...
Our newly constructed cottages consist of 2 bedrooms - 4 beds and a bathroom or 3 bedrooms - 6 beds and one and a half bathrooms, comfortable living rooms and well oytfitted kitchens and dining areas. Each cottage is supplied with bedding, towels, cooking utensils and dishes and a deck with barbecue, overloooking the beautiful Miramichi river. While staying at one of our cottages you can have your choice of ouall-inclusive packages - including meals at our main Lodge, or the privacy of a self-catered cottage where you can prepare your own meals, just the way you like them!
Two Bedroom Cottage...
At Country Haven, our lodge and cottages offer Satellite TV service, DVD and free Internet Access. We also offer a good selection of fly fishing equipment including rods, waders and flies, that can be used by our guests. We are also located just minutes from local fly shop dealers that are the best in the industry when it comes to fly fishing for Atlantic Salmon.
2 Bedroom Wilderness Cottage
Our newly constructed 2 bedroom wilderness cottage # 5 overlooking the beautiful Cain's River is a single level 2 bedroom unit with 2 double beds and a double pull-out sofa, one bathroom, comfortable living room and a modern equipped kitchen. This is a brand new Cottage, located on the banks of the Cains river - one of the best little Trout and Atlantic Salmon rivers in the world!
While visiting us at Country Haven you can enjoy our walking trails that are located throughout the property for your enjoyment. There are also outdoor sitting areas including a screened-in Gazebo which offers a splendid view for watching the sunset over the river.
